Job summary

Advocate Health in Warner Robins, GA is seeking a licensed practical nurse to provide direct patient care in the Family Medicine department. This full-time role (40 hours per week) involves assisting with assessments, administering medications, and supporting care plans under the supervision of a registered nurse.

Candidates must complete an accredited practical nursing program, hold an LPN license, and obtain BLS within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in Practical Nursing.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license issued by the state.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care according to policies and standards.
• Assist with assessment and documentation of data and responses.
• Report significant changes in patient condition to the RN.
• Support care plan development and implementation under supervision.
• Document interventions and patient responses.
• Assist with medication administration, IV therapy, wound care, venipuncture.
• Communicate changes in medical orders to the RN.
