Carle Health is seeking an LPN in Illinois to join a care team, handling medications, IV piggybacks, and patient assessments under RN guidance. The role includes trach/dressing care, NG tube management, and patient education.
Qualified candidates hold an Illinois LPN license and BLS certification. A $2,500 sign-on bonus is offered with a 2-year commitment, with comprehensive benefits and equal opportunity employment information available.

When unit is full, LPN will work with RNs with highest acuity or will be paired with an RN who has a heavy patient load. When the UNL has patients, the LPN will be paired with the UNL to assist with the UNL patient load. LPN tasks may include oral meds, IV piggyback meds, trach care, dressing changes, documentation on assessments and care plans after the RN has completed the first assessment and initiated the care plan.
The compensation range for this position is $25.73 per hour – $41.87 per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
