• Inserts and cares for NG tube and feedings; manages ostomy care.
• Reinforces education and discharge instructions.

Overview

Sign On Bonus $2500 (2yr Commitment) (LPN >1yr)

When unit is full, LPN will work with RNs with highest acuity or will be paired with an RN who has a heavy patient load. When the UNL has patients, the LPN will be paired with the UNL to assist with the UNL patient load. LPN tasks may include oral meds, IV piggyback meds, trach care, dressing changes, documentation on assessments and care plans after the RN has completed the first assessment and initiated the care plan.

Qualifications

• Certifications: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) and Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days - American Heart Association (AHA)
• Education: College Diploma: Licensed Practical Nurse (Required)
• Work Experience:

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation range for this position is $25.73 per hour – $41.87 per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
