Job summary

• Completes dressing changes as needed.
• Completes trach care as needed.

Overview

When unit is full, LPN will work with RNs with highest acuity or will be paired with an RN who has a heavy patient load. When the UNL has patients, the LPN will be paired with the UNL to assist with the UNL patient load. LPN tasks may include oral meds, IV piggyback meds, trach care, dressing changes, documentation on assessments and care plans after the RN has completed the first assessment and initiated the care plan.

Qualifications

Certifications: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR); Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days - American Heart Association (AHA). Education: College Diploma: Licensed Practical Nurse (Required). Work Experience: (not specified).

Responsibilities

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation range for this position is $25.73 per hour - $41.87 per hour. This represents a good faith min and max range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health.
