Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living Mgmt Inc is seeking an LPN Medication Nurse to provide licensed nursing support with safe medication administration, health monitoring, and precise clinical documentation at our Annapolis location.

You will follow the Six Rights, document in MAR/TAR, monitor symptoms, and report changes while maintaining medication carts and narcotic counts in a compliant environment.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in good standing.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Strong assessment and documentation skills.
• Experience in senior care or medication administration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time.
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for symptom relief.
• Report refusals or adverse reactions promptly.
• Conduct Service & Health Updates (SHUs).
• Transcribe physician orders and support care plan updates.
• Observe and report physical, emotional, or cognitive changes.
• Maintain medication carts, complete narcotic counts, and uphold compliance standards.

What We’re Looking For:
