Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a dedicated LPN Medication Nurse to deliver accurate care for residents. You will administer medications, follow physician orders, and document in real time to support safe, compliant care plans.

The role emphasizes clinical precision, timely reporting of changes, and collaboration with the care team to protect resident health and well-being in a senior living setting.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in good standing.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.
• Experience in senior care or medication administration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time.
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for symptom relief.
• Report refusals or adverse reactions promptly.
• Transcribe physician orders and support care plan updates.
• Observe and report changes in residents' physical, emotional, or cognitive condition.
• Maintain medication carts, complete narcotic counts, and uphold compliance standards.

You play a critical role in preventing medication errors, identifying health changes early, and protecting resident safety through clinical precision and regulatory adherence.

What We’re Looking For:

• Active LPN license in good standing
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Strong assessment and documentation skills
• Experience in senior care or medication administration preferred

Pay Range: 29.25 - 39.05
