The role emphasizes patient data collection, reporting, and executing orders to support recovery.

The ideal candidate holds current LPN/LVN licensure in-state (or compact licensure), with BLS certification. IV certification may be required by state regulations.

Qualifications

• One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience is preferred but not required.
• Holds current licensure as an LPN/LVN in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure.
• Current BLS certification required; BLS must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care as directed by an RN on the unit.
• Gather and report patient data, carry out orders, and perform therapeutic procedures as appropriate.
• Assure age- and population-appropriate care in line with PAM Health policies and guidelines.
