Good Samaritan Luverne in Minnesota seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to deliver professional nursing care to residents in long-term care under supervision. You will administer medications, document care, and collaborate with the care team to support residents’ health and safety.

The role is full-time with a 36-hour weekly schedule, shift differentials, and education support. A $15,000 sign-on bonus is offered along with a robust benefits package.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program and hold an unencumbered LPN license.
• Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred.
• Must have completed a pre-licensure nursing program with supervised clinical experience across the life span or have a minimum of 400 hours of experience as LPN at another facility.
• Completes required annual continuing education units (CEU) and competency training requirements of the department and facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care for residents in long-term care under supervision of a registered nurse or physician.
• Demonstrate nursing principles and administer medications or treatments as ordered.
• Maintain confidentiality and collaborate with the care team to support resident health and safety.

Education

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure
