Job summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Good Samaritan Luverne delivers professional nursing care in a long-term care setting under supervision. You will administer medications, monitor residents, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support health and safety.

Qualifications

Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as an LPN.
Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred.
If IV therapy is required, North Dakota-specific training or an IV therapy course may be required.
Must have attended a pre-licensure nursing program with clinical experience or 400 hours as LPN at another facility.

Responsibilities

Provide professional nursing care to residents in long-term care under supervision.
Administer medications and treatments as ordered; monitor and document outcomes.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure resident health, safety and comfort.
Demonstrate confidentiality and professional communication with residents and families.
