Job summary

Good Samaritan Luverne is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for full-time day shifts in Luverne, MN. The role includes providing professional nursing care, administering medications, and collaborating with the care team to ensure resident safety and comfort.

We offer a generous benefits package and a sign-on bonus of $15,000. Must hold an LPN license with state privileges; IV therapy requirements may apply in ND. Competitive hourly pay with night/weekend differentials where applicable.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred.
• IV therapy requirements may apply in North Dakota per state rules (AASPN or approved IV therapy course).
• Pre-licensure program with supervised clinical experience across the life span or 400 hours as an LPN at another facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care for residents under supervision.
• Administer medications or treatments as ordered.
• Document resident interactions, outcomes, and care provided.
• Maintain confidentiality and effective communication within the interdisciplinary team.
