Job summary

Talented-Medical-Solutions is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide care in a long-term care setting. The role involves administering medications, monitoring residents, and supervising Certified Nursing Assistants under the direction of a Registered Nurse or physician.

Applicants must have an accredited LPN/LVN program, current state licensure, and BLS certification. Prior LTC experience is preferred, with a focus on accurate documentation and resident safety.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited practical or vocational nursing program.
• Current LPN/LVN licensure in the state of practice is required.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility policy.
• Perform resident assessments and monitor changes in physical, cognitive or behavioral status.
• Supervise and delegate appropriately to Certified Nursing Assistants on the assigned unit.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation in the resident record and medication administration record.
• Communicate changes in resident condition to the Registered Nurse, physician and family as appropriate.
• Follow infection control, safety and regulatory requirements governing long-term care practice.
