Job summary

Good Samaritan in Lakota, ND seeks an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide professional nursing care in long-term aging care. You will work under supervision, administering medications and treatments, documenting care, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure residents receive high-quality care.

Ideal candidates hold an LPN license, an associate degree (preferred), and have or be willing to obtain IV therapy credentials.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as an LPN; an Associate degree is preferred.
• ND IV therapy training or approved IV therapy course if required by the role.
• Pre-licensure program with clinical experience or 400 hours as LPN at another facility.
• Unencumbered LPN license and ongoing CEU/compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care for residents per care plan and scope.
• Administer medications/treatments as ordered and monitor responses.
• Document resident interactions and outcomes; maintain confidentiality.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team to ensure quality care.
• Maintain competencies and participate in ongoing training as needed.
