Good Samaritan Society in Windom, MN seeks an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide professional nursing care for residents in a long-term care setting. You will administer medications, document care details, and work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality resident outcomes.

Strong knowledge of nursing principles, patient safety, and effective communication with residents and families is essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred.
• Current unencumbered LPN license and required continuing education units.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care for residents in long term care.
• Administer medications or treatments as ordered.
• Document resident interactions and outcomes related to care, medications, behavior, and diet.
• Collaborate with resident, health care providers, and the interdisciplinary team.
