Job summary

Good Samaritan Society in Brainerd, MN seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for part-time evening shifts. The role delivers professional nursing care in a long-term care setting under supervision, following care plans and maintaining resident safety and comfort.

The position requires graduation from an accredited practical nursing program, an active LPN license, and ongoing CEU maintenance. Sign-on bonus available; weekend incentives apply and evening shift premiums may be offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as an LPN; associate degree preferred.
• Must have attended a pre-licensure nursing program with supervised clinical experience across the lifespan.
• Currently holds an unencumbered LPN license and maintains required CEUs and competencies.
• IV therapy/management skills may be required in North Dakota per ND guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to residents per care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered; maintain documentation.
• Support interdisciplinary team and communicate with residents and families.
• Ensure health, safety and comfort of residents; respond to emergent situations.
