Job summary

The Good Samaritan Society is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide professional nursing care for residents in a long-term care setting, under supervision of a registered nurse or physician. Responsibilities include medication administration, assessments, and contributing to care plans while maintaining confidentiality and effective communication within the care team.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program.
• Associate degree in practical nursing preferred.
• Unencumbered LPN license with State Nursing board.
• Completes required CEU and competency training.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care for residents in long-term care.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Work within an interdisciplinary care team to support resident wellbeing.
• Communicate clearly, maintain confidentiality, and document resident interactions.
