Job summary

Good Samaritan Luverne is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide professional nursing care for residents in a long-term care setting. You will work under supervision of a registered nurse or physician, perform medication administration, develop and follow care plans, and maintain accurate documentation while ensuring resident safety and comfort.

Qualifications include an accredited LPN program with licensure, and a willingness to participate in ongoing education and collaboration

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as an LPN.
• Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care for residents under supervision.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Document resident interactions and outcomes of care, medications, behavior, and diet.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to plan and implement care.
