Summary: For nearly 70 years, Stella Maris has been a leading nursing home, providing Baltimore-area residents with a comprehensive range of health and residential services. We are currently recruiting for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to join our mission driven organization to provide excellent care to our residents.

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – 12 Hour Shifts. Day and Night Available. Part-Time and Full-Time Positions Available.

Responsibilities

The essential function of this position is to provide nursing care to the residents of Stella Maris. Check out some of our benefits offered:

• Implements the nursing process to identify residents/patients’ needs, using the interdisciplinary team approach to supply appropriate interventions. Provides direct care to residents in accordance with facility standards and standards of nursing practice.
• Monitors residents/patients’ physical/mental status on an ongoing basis, responding to clinical changes and emergency situations. Provides clear, professional communication to staff, residents, medical practitioners and family members.
• Answers resident call lights, serving as a role model for all members of the care team.
• Maintains proper documentation in the patient health record to maintain regulatory compliance.
• Provides both physical and emotional support to patients by honoring the patient and family with compassion and care.

Qualifications

• LPN licensure in the State of Maryland
• Current Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
• Prior experience in Long Term Care preferred

Salary

Min USD $29.75/Hr.

Max USD $44.79/Hr.
