Job summary

COX HEALTHCARE LTD in Owasso, Oklahoma is seeking an LPN to provide patient care for residents on the night shift, 7p-7a, 3-4 days per week.

You will help implement and evaluate care plans, document physician orders, monitor infection control, and support ongoing nursing care with the direct care staff.

Qualifications

• Current, valid LPN license.
• Experience in long-term healthcare preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, written documentation included.

Responsibilities

• Help implement and evaluate care plans for individual care of each resident.
• Maintains appropriate nursing service objectives, goals, and standards of nursing practices.
• Receive, transcribe, and implement physician’s orders in a timely manner.
• Reports required condition changes, events to appropriate parties.
• Administers medication/treatments as prescribed.
• Monitors infection control compliance.
• Investigates/documents accidents/incidents.

Looking for an LPN to pick up 3-4 days a week on the night shift from 7p-7a.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for overall care of assigned residents and supervision of direct care staff in the community.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Current, valid LPN license.
• Experience in long-term healthcare preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills needed, both verbal and written documentation.
