Responsibilities

• Manages the day to day operations of the health and wellness component of the community to ensure resident safety and wellbeing.
• Assist with medication administration and documentation for residents in a senior living setting
• Observe residents under treatment to identify progress and side effects of medications
• Monitor and record vital signs
• Provide assistance with activities of daily living
• Administer prescribed medications, injections, wound care, and other basic medical care tasks
• Collect lab samples
• Communicate with team members, residents, families and medical professionals
• Work as a member of a multidisciplinary team

Requirements

• LPN (Required) BLS Certification (Preferred, not required)
• Familiarity with hospital health, safety, and sanitation standards and procedures
• Excellent knowledge of medical and hospital terminology
• Perfect physical condition and stamina
