Job summary

Juniper Gardens Center in Gastonia, NC is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide bedside care in a resident-centered facility. You will administer medications and document effects, and support the health and comfort of residents.

Responsibilities include vital signs, wound care, injections, catheter monitoring, and mentoring staff as needed. An Associate's Degree in Nursing is preferred; current NC LPN license, CPR/first aid, and strong customer service are required.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in NC
• Exceptional staff training and customer service skills
• Compassionate and friendly demeanor

• Take vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse and respiration) and monitor residents
• Assist with resident comfort and mobility
• Prepare and administer injections and/or enemas
• Collect samples and monitor catheters; provide wound care
• Help coach staff as necessary
