Job summary

Juniper Village at the Spearly Center in Denver is seeking LPNs for part-time roles with shifts from 6 am to 2 pm Thursday through Sunday, and 6 pm to 11 pm Friday through Monday. Pay starts at $36.00 per hour with higher rates for experienced nurses, plus DailyPay on-demand access.

Qualifications

• LPN licensure is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Experience in long-term care or geriatrics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with medication administration and documentation for residents.
• Observe patients under treatment to identify progress and side-effects.
• Monitor and record vital signs.
• Provide assistance with activities of daily living.
• Administer prescribed medications and basic care tasks.
• Collect lab samples and communicate with the care team.

• Observe patients/residents under treatment to identify progress, side-effects of medications, etc.
• Monitor and record vital signs
• Provide assistance as necessary with activates of daily living
• Administer prescribed medications, injections, wound care, and other basic medical care tasks
• Collect lab samples
• Communicate with other members of the team, residents, families and medical professionals
• Work as a member of a multidisciplinary team

Requirements:

• LPN (Required)
• BLS Certification (Required)

Familiarity with hospital health, safety, and sanitation standards and procedures

Excellent knowledge of medical and hospital terminology
