Job summary

Amedisys Home Health in Georgia is seeking a licensed practical nurse for full-time, day shift work to support patients in their homes. The role offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus and competitive pay, plus mileage reimbursement and comprehensive benefits.

You will verify care plans, coordinate with RNs and physicians, educate patients and caregivers, monitor vitals, and perform procedures as ordered. A valid LPN license and CPR are required.

Qualifications

• One year of clinical LPN experience.
• Current LPN license for the state(s).
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver's license with reliable transportation and liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Verify plan of care with the RN prior to each visit.
• Collaborate with physician and RN to meet patient needs; notify changes.
• Teach patients and caregivers self-care techniques.
• Check vital signs.
• Review medications and perform reconciliation at each visit.
• Prepare equipment and materials for treatments using aseptic technique.
• Complete documentation timely and accurately.
