Job summary

Mount Carmel Care Center in Lenox, MA seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join a faith-based, non-profit long-term care facility (69 beds). Competitive hourly pay ($35.50–$40.50) with a $4,000 sign-on bonus for full-time. Full and part-time shifts available; PTO up to 30 days; 80% health insurance premiums paid by us.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, MA LPN license, and BLS. Nursing Home experience preferred; ability to supervise and delegate.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Nursing License - LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse in MA.
• BLS Certification required.
• Nursing Home: 1 year (Preferred).
• Must be able to supervise and delegate.

Responsibilities

• Assist Unit/Shift Supervisor in planning, organizing, developing, and directing the nursing unit activities.
• Check all ill residents early in the shift, make periodic assessments, report changes.
• Assess resident care needs for Minimum Data Set, Resident Assessment protocols and Interdisciplinary care plans.
• Report resident condition changes and document in Medical Record.
• Administer and record prescribed medications and treatments.

• $4,000 Sign-On Bonus for Full-Time.
