Job summary

The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing at Queens in New York seeks a licensed practical nurse (LPN) to join our skilled nursing facility team. The role is full-time with 7am-3pm and 3pm-11pm shifts, and offers daily pay options.

You will perform medication administration, vital signs, resident education, and collaborate with physicians, NPs, and CNAs to support geriatric residents and improve their daily experience.

Qualifications

• Current NY LPN license required.
• Experience in geriatric/skilled nursing settings preferred.
• Ability to work independently and under supervision.
• Commitment to resident-focused care.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for SNF and Long Term Care residents.
• Administer medications, including IVs.
• Take and record vital signs.
• Monitor outcomes and provide education to residents and families.

Candidate should possess passion for geriatric population, must contain a license in the state of NY, be able to evaluate and treat independently without direct supervision, and posses the desire to perform functional therapeutic activities to assist residents improve in their experience. Rate: Up to $34.48 an hour
