Elderwood at Amherst is seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and collaborative Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our clinical team.
Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) are vital members of our interdisciplinary team, managing the daily clinical regimen of residents and sub-acute patients. They gain extensive clinical experience and provide advanced care in a home-like setting. The LPN is assigned to a team of Nursing Assistants, responsible for skilled treatments, medication passing, and monitoring personal care services. They report care and unusual symptoms to supervisors and next shift staff. State LPN license required.
All shifts include every other weekend requirements:
This role involves regular interaction with residents, staff, visitors, and requires reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English at an intermediate or higher level.
