Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Position Overview:

Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) are vital members of our interdisciplinary team, managing the daily clinical regimen of residents and sub-acute patients. They gain extensive clinical experience and provide advanced care in a home-like setting. The LPN is assigned to a team of Nursing Assistants, responsible for skilled treatments, medication passing, and monitoring personal care services. They report care and unusual symptoms to supervisors and next shift staff. State LPN license required.

LPN Shift Options

All shifts include every other weekend requirements:

• Evenings: 2pm-10pm (Part-Time Only)
• Overnights: 10pm-6am (Part-Time and Full-Time)

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians.
• Monitor and direct Nursing Assistants' personal care duties.
• Assist residents directly when necessary.
• Report changes and progress to the supervisor.
• Follow and monitor the Plan of Care.
• Manage controlled substances securely.
• Document all care activities accurately.
