Job summary

Complete Care at La Plata is hiring a LPN Licensed Practical Nurse for direct care roles in Maryland. We offer a $6,000 sign-on bonus for full-time positions, premium pay rates, and shift differentials of $2/hr on 2nd/3rd shifts on weekdays and $3/hr on weekends.

Responsibilities

• Administer Medications: Give oral, topical, IV, injectable medications
• Wound/Skin Care: Perform wound care/prevention, manage pain, apply dressings
• Monitoring: Observe physical and mental health status- track changes & analyze data
• Clinical Procedure: Provide catheter/ostomy care, gather specimens etc.
• Care Planning: Assist in executing the individualized care
• Collaboration: Strategize care with physicians, therapists, social workers & others
• Family & Resident Education: Explain health status, changes and expectations for care
• Documentation: Keep a detailed record of health status, all care, progress & interactions
• Team Oversight: Oversee & delegate CNA’s ensuring quality care/teamwork
