The Chateau at Brooklyn Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in New York seeks a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our skilled nursing team. The ideal candidate will evaluate and treat residents independently, perform clinical tasks, and contribute to a positive geriatric care experience.

Requirements include an active NY LPN license and the ability to supervise CNAs. Bilingual Russian is preferred. Salary is up to $42 per hour, with competitive benefits and medical coverage offered.

Formación

• Current NY LPN license.
• Experience in geriatric/SNF settings preferred.
• Bilingual Russian preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide care for SNF/long-term residents, including medication administration and IVs when needed.
• Take and record vital signs and monitor resident outcomes.
• Perform resident care and therapeutic activities to support well-being.
• Educate residents and families; communicate with physicians, NPs, and staff.
• Supervise CNAs to ensure quality nursing care.

Looking for a full time talented and motivated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dynamic team. The position is within a Skilled Nursing facility. Candidate should possess passion for geriatric population, must contain a license in the state of NY, be able to evaluate and treat independently without direct supervision, and posses the desire to perform functional therapeutic activities to assist residents improve in their experience.

LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) Job Description:

• Provide care for residents of our Skilled Unit (SNF) and Long Term Care Unit. Duties Include;
• Medication Administration, including IVs.
• Taking and recording vital signs.
• Providing resident care and treatments with monitoring of outcome.
• Provide resident and family education.
• Communication with physicians, NPs, families and other health care professionals.
• Supervising CNAs

Bilingual Russian preferred

LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

• Current License-LPN
