Job summary
The-Chateau-At-Brooklyn-Rehabilitation-and-Nursing-Cente is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our skilled nursing team. Candidates must hold a NY LPN license and be capable of evaluating and treating residents independently, with a focus on geriatric care.
Responsibilities include medication administration (IVs where applicable), taking vital signs, providing treatments and resident education, and supervising CNAs. Bilingual Russian is preferred.
Qualifications

Looking for a full time talented and motivated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dynamic team. The position is within a Skilled Nursing facility. Candidate should possess passion for geriatric population, must contain a license in the state of NY, be able to evaluate and treat independently without direct supervision, and posses the desire to perform functional therapeutic activities to assist residents improve in their experience.
LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) Job Description:
- Provide care for residents of our Skilled Unit (SNF) and Long Term Care Unit. Duties Include;
- Medication Administration, including IVs.
- Taking and recording vital signs.
- Providing resident care and treatments with monitoring of outcome.
- Provide resident and family education.
- Communication with physicians, NPs, families and other health care professionals.
- Supervising CNAs
Bilingual Russian preferred
LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
- Current License-LPN
Salary: Up to $42 an hour
