Job summary

Elm Crest Senior Living is seeking a PRN LPN to join our nursing team, offering flexibility, competitive pay, and the opportunity to make a real difference with every shift.

As an LPN, you will deliver skilled nursing care, monitor residents, assist with assessments and care plans, administer treatments, and collaborate with families and our interdisciplinary team to promote health and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Current Iowa LPN license or active multistate LPN license via NLC.
• Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program.
• Ability to communicate in English with residents, families and team members.

Responsibilities

• Deliver skilled nursing care according to resident care plans.
• Monitor resident conditions and report changes.
• Assist with assessments and care plan development.
• Administer treatments and nursing interventions.
• Partner with families and interdisciplinary team to promote positive outcomes.
• Support the physical, emotional, and social well-being of residents.

Position Options

• PRN / On-Call: Choose shifts as they become available
• Opportunities to pick up additional hours ranging from part-time to full-time schedules

Compensation

• $25.00-$31.33 per hour
• Evening Differential: $3.25/hour
• Night Differential: $3.50/hour
• Holiday and on-call premium pay opportunities

What You'll Contribute

As an LPN, you'll play a key role in supporting residents' health, comfort, and quality of life by:

• Delivering skilled nursing care in accordance with resident care plans
• Monitoring resident conditions and reporting changes appropriately
• Assisting with assessments and care plan development
• Administering treatments and nursing interventions
• Partnering with families and interdisciplinary team members to promote positive outcomes
• Supporting the physical, emotional, and social well-being of residents

Qualifications

Required

• Current LPN license in Iowa or an active multistate LPN license from a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
• Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program
• Ability to effectively communicate in English with residents, families, physicians, and team members

Preferred

• Previous long-term care, rehabilitation, or senior living experience
• Recent nursing graduates are encouraged to apply
