Job summary

Nashville Center For Rehabilitation and Healing in Tennessee is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant for full-time (and PRN) to support geriatric residents in a skilled nursing setting. You will assist the PT, implement treatment plans, and help residents improve mobility and comfort under supervision as appropriate.

The ideal candidate holds an active Physical Therapy Assistant license in the state and has the ability to evaluate and treat independently with passion for elder care.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active PTA license in the state of practice.
• SNF experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to evaluate and treat residents independently with supervision as needed.

Looking for a full time talented and motivated Physical Therapy Assistant to join our dynamic team. The position is within a Skilled Nursing facility. Candidate should possess passion for geriatric population, must contain a license in the state of practice, be able to evaluate and treat independently without direct supervision, and posses the desire to perform functional therapeutic activities to assist residents improve in their experience.

Job Description:

Assist the PT with therapies designed to improve mobility, relieve pain, prevent or limit permanent physical disability and promote overall fitness and wellness in a skilled nursing facility.
