Qualifications
- Licensed to work in Maryland as an LPN Licensed Practical Nurse
- Able to pass background check, drug screen, professional references check & physical evaluation
- Professional & Clinically Skilled with leadership qualities
Responsibilities
- Administer medications including oral, topical, IV and injectable forms.
- Perform wound care and prevention, manage pain, apply dressings.
- Monitor residents' physical and mental health, track changes and analyze data.
- Provide catheter/ostomy care and collect specimens as needed.
- Assist in executing individualized care plans and care planning.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, social workers and others on care strategies.
- Educate residents and families about health status and expected care.
- Maintain detailed documentation of health status, care provided and progress.
- Oversee CNA work and ensure quality care and teamwork.
