Responsibilities

• Administer medications including oral, topical, IV, and injectable.
• Perform wound care/prevention and manage pain.
• Observe physical and mental health status, tracking changes and analyzing data.
• Provide catheter/ostomy care and gather specimens.
• Assist in executing individualized care plans.
• Strategize care with a multi-disciplinary team.
• Explain health status and changes to families and residents.
• Keep detailed records of health statuses and interactions.
• Oversee & delegate tasks to CNAs ensuring quality care.

Here’s What You’ll Do for Our Residents:

• Administer Medications: Give oral, topical, IV, injectable medications
• Wound/Skin Care: Perform wound care/prevention, manage pain, apply dressings
• Monitoring: Observe physical and mental health status - track changes & analyze data
• Clinical Procedure: Provide catheter/ostomy care, gather specimens etc.
• Care Planning: Assist in executing individualized care
• Collaboration: Strategize care with physicians, therapists, social workers & others
• Family & Resident Education: Explain health status, changes and expectations for care
• Documentation: Keep a detailed record of health status, all care, progress & interactions
• Team Oversight: Oversee & delegate CNAs ensuring quality care/teamwork
