Job summary

Rockville Center is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our skilled nursing facility. The ideal candidate will hold a current NY LPN license, be able to evaluate and treat independently, and commit to alternating weekends to support resident care needs.

Responsibilities include medication administration, IVs where applicable, vital signs, and supervising CNAs. Compensation is competitive with benefits, reflective of a dedicated geriatric workforce.

Qualifications

• Alternate weekends required
• Experience in geriatric/long-term care is a plus

Rockville Center is searching for a talented and motivated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dynamic team.

The position is within a Skilled Nursing facility. Candidate should possess passion for geriatric population, must contain a license in the state of NY, be able to evaluate and treat independently without direct supervision, and posses the desire to perform functional therapeutic activities to assist residents improve in their experience.

LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) Job Description:

• Provide care for residents of our Skilled Unit (SNF) and Long Term Care Unit. Duties Include;
• Medication Administration, including IVs.
• Taking and recording vital signs.
• Providing resident care and treatments with monitoring of outcome.
• Provide resident and family education.
• Communication with physicians, NPs, families and other health care professionals.
• Supervising CNAs
