Job summary

Rockville Center is seeking a qualified Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Skilled Nursing facility. The ideal candidate will provide care for residents, administer medications, monitor vital signs, and collaborate with physicians and CNAs to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

This position requires an active NY LPN license, flexibility for alternate weekends, and a commitment to geriatric care. Shifts are 7 AM to 3 PM, with competitive wages and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in New York.
• Alternate weekends required.

Responsibilities

The position is within a Skilled Nursing facility. Candidate should possess passion for geriatric population, must contain a license in the state of NY, be able to evaluate and treat independently without direct supervision, and posses the desire to perform functional therapeutic activities to assist residents improve in their experience.

LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) Job Description:

• Provide care for residents of our Skilled Unit (SNF) and Long Term Care Unit. Duties Include;
• Medication Administration, including IVs.
• Taking and recording vital signs.
• Providing resident care and treatments with monitoring of outcome.
• Provide resident and family education.
• Communication with physicians, NPs, families and other health care professionals.
• Supervising CNAs
