Rockville Center is seeking a licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our skilled nursing team. You will provide direct resident care in the SNF and Long Term Care units, administer medications (including IVs), monitor vitals, and educate residents and families. You will collaborate with physicians and supervise CNAs, with alternating weekend shifts.

Applicants must hold an NY LPN license and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. Competitive wages and benefits offered.

The position is within a Skilled Nursing facility. Candidate should possess passion for geriatric population, must contain a license in the state of NY, be able to evaluate and treat independently without direct supervision, and posses the desire to perform functional therapeutic activities to assist residents improve in their experience.

LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) Job Description:

• Provide care for residents of our Skilled Unit (SNF) and Long Term Care Unit. Duties Include;
• Medication Administration, including IVs.
• Taking and recording vital signs.
• Providing resident care and treatments with monitoring of outcome.
• Provide resident and family education.
• Communication with physicians, NPs, families and other health care professionals.
• Supervising CNAs
