The Laurels of Kent in Lowell, MA is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse to join our long-term care team. You will supervise CNAs, coordinate resident care, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations in a compassionate, patient-focused environment.

We offer a $7,500 sign-on bonus for full-time employment, competitive pay ranging from $33.40 to $35.90 per hour, and a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your professional growth and well-being.

Qualifications

• Current state license to practice as an LPN.
• CPR certification or CPR certification within 90 days of employment.
• Minimum 1–2 years nursing experience in long-term or sub-acute settings.

Responsibilities

• Supervises CNAs/STNAs and other staff providing direct care.
• Plans, assigns, and directs work in alignment with resident needs and staff capabilities.
• Prepares work assignments, adjusting for staffing levels and resident safety.
• Receives staffing-related calls and arranges replacements as needed.
• Transfers employees among units per staffing demands.
• Completes performance evaluations for CNAs/STNAs.
• Adjusts break schedules and resolves staff concerns.
• Use independent judgment in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
