Job summary

Advocate Health seeks an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse to provide direct patient care within the office setting. You will document interactions in the medical record and assist with procedures, injections, and venipuncture as needed.

You will also participate in triage calls, monitor vital signs, review medication lists, and ensure compliance with CLIA and safety regulations while supporting the care team.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse with active license.
• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
• BLS certification and prior medical office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in line with nursing scope and office protocols.
• Document all patient interactions in the medical record accurately.
• Perform venipuncture and basic laboratory testing as applicable.
• Monitor vital signs, assist with procedures, and manage injections.
• Assist with triage via phone and coordinate with the provider.
