Job summary

Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for the Internal Medicine team at Winston East in Winston-Salem, NC. This full-time role offers 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with a pay range of $24.10 to $36.15 per hour.

Responsibilities include preparing patients, performing lab procedures, assisting physicians, administering medications, and ensuring patient education and proper documentation.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved Practical Nursing program.
• No experience required.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 45 days unless exempt.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and rooms the patient for exam and documents health information.
• Performs laboratory procedures using aseptic technique and standard precautions.
• Assists physician with procedures and surgeries as required.
• Administers medications under orders, including immunizations and IV-related tasks.
• Provides patient education and ensures referrals and follow-ups are arranged.
• Maintains and sterilizes equipment and clinic areas.
