Job summary

Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist in Winston-Salem is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for Family Medicine at the Downtown Health Plaza. This full-time, 40-hour/week position offers a daytime schedule from 8:00am to 5:00pm and a pay range of $24.10 to $36.15 per hour.

Responsibilities include patient rooming, vital signs, assist with procedures, administer medications, and coordinate care with physicians and the health care team. BLS and an accredited LPN program completion are required.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing program.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in state where practicing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 45 days unless exempt.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and rooms patients, records vital signs and health information.
• Perform lab tests (strep, wound culture) using sterile technique.
• Assist physicians with procedures such as pelvic exams and allergy testing.
• Administer medications per orders and manage IV therapy within scope.
• Educate patients and coordinate referrals and follow-up appointments.
