Job summary

Qualifications

• LPN license in the state where the facility is located is required.
• Two years of direct work experience as an LPN preferred.
• Ability to work with computers and standard medical software.

Responsibilities

• Develop nursing care plans with guidance from the RN.
• Perform complete physical assessment and medical history.
• Provide nursing care within capacity and refer issues to physicians.
• Ensure prescribed medications are administered as instructed.
• Periodically evaluate patients' symptoms and progress and report problems.
• Administer medications securely and prevent hoarding/trafficking.
• Follow accreditation policies and document detainee contacts.
• Keep medical records confidential.
