Job summary

Qualifications
- LPN license in the state where the facility is located is required.
- Two years of direct work experience as an LPN preferred.
- Ability to work with computers and standard medical software.
Responsibilities
- Develop nursing care plans with guidance from the RN.
- Perform complete physical assessment and medical history.
- Provide nursing care within capacity and refer issues to physicians.
- Ensure prescribed medications are administered as instructed.
- Periodically evaluate patients' symptoms and progress and report problems.
- Administer medications securely and prevent hoarding/trafficking.
- Follow accreditation policies and document detainee contacts.
- Keep medical records confidential.
