Sunrise Group in the United States seeks a licensed practical nurse to provide medical services within our community program, supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and promoting their health and wellbeing.

You will perform basic health tasks such as blood pressure monitoring, assist with daily care per individualized plans, document thoroughly, maintain supplies, and partner with Direct Support Professionals to meet each person’s needs while following safety

Qualifikationen

• Must successfully complete pre-employment Background and Drug Screenings.
• Must possess a valid Driver’s License with endorsements and have at least 3 years of driving experience.
• Must possess basic computer skills.
• Must hold current and valid LPN license.
• Experience working with people with intellectual/developmental disabilities preferred.

Aufgaben

• Assists in providing basic healthcare services according to the individual’s plan ensuring each individual’s optimal health and wellbeing.
• Performs tasks such as blood pressure monitoring, weights, and other assigned tasks.
• Ensures all documentation is accurate and complete according to regulations.
• Responsible for organization and cleanliness of supplies and equipment, ensuring restocking of inventory.
• Collaborates with Direct Support Professionals to ensure that the needs of the individuals are being met.
• Communicates immediately any changes in medical or behavioral status to supervisor.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
