Qualifications

• Graduation from a recognized Licensed Practical Nursing program and licensed as an LPN in South Carolina or compact state.
• One year of LPN experience preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Providing patient- and family-centered care while serving as a trusted partner and resource.
• Supporting patients and families as they manage their healthcare needs with respect for culture, values, goals, and treatment preferences.
• Applying clinical judgment to support timely and appropriate patient care.
• Recognizing and reporting changes in a patient’s condition to the appropriate clinical provider.
• Assisting physicians and other professionals with patient prep, examinations, treatments, and procedures.
• Interviewing and screening patients to collect medical history and symptoms.
• Obtaining and documenting vital signs and other clinical information.
• Performing telephone and in-person patient screenings.
• Documenting patient care and clinical findings in the medical record.
• Communicating treatment guidance or medication changes with the provider.
• Responding to patient calls regarding symptoms, medications, and concerns.
• Preparing, cleaning, and stocking exam rooms and clinical areas.
• Maintaining a safe, organized, and welcoming environment for patients and team members.
• Performing additional duties within the LPN scope of practice as assigned.
