Job summary

ContinueCARE Hospital at Baptist Health Paducah is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our hospital team. You will provide high-quality nursing care, ensure patient comfort and safety, and follow established policies and scope of practice in a fast-paced hospital setting.

The role is full-time and requires active Kentucky LPN licensure, BLS certification, and a minimum of 1 year of hospital experience.

Qualifications

• LPN license active in Kentucky.
• Minimum 1 year of recent hospital experience.
• BLS certification required.
• Strong clinical judgment and communication.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care under RN or physician supervision.
• Assess patients and document observations accurately.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient responses and report changes.
• Assist with admissions, discharges and transfers.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on care plans.
• Educate patients and families and provide emotional support.
• Maintain EHR documentation and uphold safety standards.
