Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in Shawnee, Kansas seeks a licensed LPN/LVN to provide skilled nursing care on assignment. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care in accordance with orders and document nursing diagnoses.

TB/X-ray, BLS, and licensure in the practicing state are required, with at least 1 year of nursing experience preferred. The role offers hourly pay with weekly paychecks and a comprehensive benefits package, including health/dental/vision, HSA and 401(k).

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state in which the LPN will practice.
• Current TB or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior professional nursing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
