Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN) to provide skilled nursing care on assignment, following physician orders and using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. Eligible candidates must hold an active LPN/LVN license in the practice state, possess a current BLS card, and have a TB test or chest X-ray on file.

One year of nursing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state in which the LPN will practice.
• TB test or Chest X-ray is current.
• Current BLS card is required.
• One year prior professional nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provide skilled nursing care/services according to prescribed orders.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data from health care team and document nursing diagnoses.
