Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in Panama City, FL is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide in-home care for pediatric and/or adult patients. The role emphasizes skilled nursing services and adherence to prescribed orders.

You will work with families in home settings, performing assessments, planning and delivering care, and documenting patient status. FL LPN license and BLS are required, with TB/X-ray and prior nursing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed LPN/LVN in Florida required.
• Current TB or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Use nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Provide skilled nursing care per orders on each assignment.
• Assess physiologic and psychosocial changes in patient condition.
• Collect and interpret data for nursing diagnoses and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state in which the LPN will practice.
• Current TB or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior professional nursing experience preferred
