Maxim Healthcare is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to care for pediatric patients in a home setting across South Suburbs of Chicago, IL, including Burnham, Calumet City, Frankfort, Thornton, and Chicago Heights.

Shifts include Day and Night for both part-time and full-time positions. Compensation ranges from $30 to $40 per hour with a comprehensive benefits package. Join a dedicated team delivering compassionate in-home nursing care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Active RN or LPN/LVN license in the state of practice.
• Current CPR and BLS certification.
• One year of nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process in the home setting.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and monitor results.
• Assess patient condition and document changes and care plans.
• Collaborate with supervisors/physicians and coordinate care.

Salary: $30- $40/ per hour

Responsibilities:

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.

Qualifications:

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state in which the LPN will practice.
• Current TB or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior professional nursing experience preferred

Responsibilities:

• Utilizes the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient/client care and/or contracted services
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed, as well as, monitors and documents effectiveness of intervention and progress toward established goals
• Intervenes as applicable to changes in condition and reports such changes to appropriate supervisor and/or physician
• Documents all physician collaboration/coordination of care in the medical record and communicates this information as needed
• Monitors the safety and effectiveness of the environment and equipment including universal precautions

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Active RN License or Active LPN License
• Current CPR
• PPD or chest X ray if applicable
