Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in Canon City, Colorado is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide in-home nursing care for pediatric and/or adult patients. The role emphasizes using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, following prescribed orders, and documenting patient data.

Qualified applicants are currently licensed LPNs/LVNs, with a current TB or chest x-ray, and a current BLS card. One year of prior nursing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the practicing state.
• Current TB or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior professional nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.

Skills
