Job summary

Henry Ford Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to deliver home health care and hospice services under the supervision of a registered nurse. The role involves collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to implement care plans and demonstrate nursing competence across adult and geriatric populations.

Qualified candidates will be in the final semester or graduates of an accredited LPN program, possess strong communication skills, and have problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.

Qualifications

• Currently in last semester of or graduated from an accredited LPN program.
• Effective written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to problem-solve and apply critical thinking in patient care.
• Knowledge about care of neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
• Prior healthcare experience is a plus, Women and Children Services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide adult and geriatric home health care under supervision of the primary nurse.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to implement the nursing care plan.
• Perform a variety of technical and routine nursing services with clinical competence.
