Job summary

Henry Ford Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide direct in-home patient care on days, for a full-time schedule. The role supports comprehensive home health services under RN supervision, delivering basic nursing procedures and family-centered care.

The position requires an NLN-accredited LPN program completion, at least 1 year of clinical LPN experience (home health preferred), and strong communication across diverse patient populations.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an LPN program accredited by the National League of Nursing.
• Minimum of one year hands-on clinical LPN experience required; prior home health care experience preferred.
• The ability to effectively communicate with patients, families and health care personnel.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills required to interact with individuals from various backgrounds.
• Must have reliable transportation; possess a Michigan driver's license; and have a satisfactory driving record.
• Must be able to lift, carry, transport and move clients, if needed.

Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of the registered nurse, provides direct patient/family care in the home and performs basic therapeutic and preventative nursing procedures.
