Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited LPN/LVN school of nursing.
• Valid LPN/LVN license in the state employed.
• Valid CPR certification.
• One year nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Documents the resident’s condition and nursing needs.
• Implements physicians’ orders promptly and accurately.
• Assigns nursing care to team members per resident’s needs.
• Supervises, directs, and evaluates junior staff and CNAs.
• Administers medications and treatments and documents as required by regulations.
• Participates in orientation and in-service training for personnel.
• Ensures supplies are used economically and equipment is safe.
